Check on your own on work of our IRS friends, while they were trying to pull this helpful search tool together.

Click on the following link: Results for Tax Exempt Organization Search . You may "SEARCH BY" and select "Organization Name" - it will be enough to enter just "Rescue & Welfare Trust" or feel free to use the "EIN" number, or "City" and "State". With City and State, you will have to probably do a bit more scrolling, but you will find our organization as well.

To obtain status as this, it is not easy task. There is lot of work and effort put into to stay in compliance with regulations required. It is truly some extra work. With having end of the year in our close horizon, let's help our Bull Terriers.

So what charitable donation actually does to your tax return ?

Any taxpayer may be able to deduct donation to tax exempt organization on their tax return. The law in the USA is now permitting to taxpayer to claim a limited deduction on 2021 federal Income tax returns for cash contribution made to certain qualifying charitable organizations and YES this year - you don’t have to itemize deductions on your tax return and you can still be eligible. Meaning even if you use standard deduction for your tax return, you can claim this benefit.

Taxpayers, including married individuals filing separate returns, can claim a deduction of up to $300.00 for cash contributions to qualifying charities during 2021.

The maximum deduction is $600.00 for married filing jointly returns.

Even though this amount may seem little to some, it is a huge difference in the life of a Bull Terrier who needs a help.

So, before you decide, if to send your tax money directly to our Uncle Sam aka the IRS, think twice, if you may at least a little bit, send rather to Bull Terrier Community. Every penny counts.

Cash contributions include those made by check, credit card or debit card.
